Haziq Yazid is a reservoir engineer with ExxonMobil, where he supports the company’s global portfolio of assets in a remote capacity. Based in Malaysia, Haziq is involved in base reservoir surveillance workflows and the production optimization space.

Haziq’s passion for oil and gas shines through his achievement in the Society of Petroleum Engineers’ flagship student competition, the PetroBowl. In 2020, the team led by Haziq became the first from the Asia Pacific region to become finalists. Today, he is an active member of the SPE Kuala Lumpur Section.

Haziq holds a BEng. in petroleum engineering from Universiti Teknologi PETRONAS, Malaysia.
