President and Chief Executive Officer of Saudi Arabian Oil Company (Saudi Aramco)

Abdallah Jum'ah was singled out by his peers for his strong leadership of Saudi Aramco in the past 10 years and the company's current expansion program. With Mr. Jum'ah becoming CEO of Saudi Aramco in 1995, he has led the far-reaching expansion of Saudi Aramco's downstream and gas businesses and the transformation of the company into a fully integrated international oil and gas enterprise.

Under his leadership, the company has refocused its strategic direction to maintain its position as the world's premier energy supplier while supporting the expansion and diversification of Saudi Arabia's economy with a continued strong commercial orientation.

Pursuing his higher education on the U.S. model, Mr. Jum'ah studied political science at the American University in Cairo and then at the American University of Beirut, where he earned his bachelor's degree. Later he completed the program for Management Development at Harvard University in Cambridge, Massachusetts.
