Carlos Penalver is a student in the Energy, Technology, Economics & Management program at the Institut Français du Pétrole IFP in Paris. He holds a bachelor's degree in petroleum engineering from Universidad Central de Venezuela and a master's in project management from Universidad Simon Bolivar.

Mr Penalver’s passion for the energy industry has led him to perform several roles, including his last experience as an Engineer Analyst for Equinor in Venezuela. Always eager to learn, this master's at the IFP has brought to him wider knowledge on renewable energies to create new solutions for a sustainable transition.
