Michael Sultan has over 20 years of experience covering energy. He has spent most of that time focused on the worldwide LNG business. At Energy Intelligence, Michael serves as the Editor of the daily publication LNG Intelligence and is a frequent contributor to Energy Intelligence’s natural gas publications as well as to its Research and Advisory publications.

Michael has been writing extensively about the US LNG industry since before operations began. He focuses on project status, regulatory impact, contracting and world market prospects. Prior to writing about LNG, Michael ran the North American gas price survey for Energy Intelligence’s Natural Gas Week, covering pricing trends for onshore natural gas trading hubs.

Michael has an MA in economics from Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University, and a BA in economics from the University of Virginia.
