Speaker Bio
Cristina Haus has been Editor of Jet Fuel Intelligence (JFI) for more than 20 years, writing and editing articles on aviation refueling, jet fuel markets and the environmental impact of air travel. Cristina was an early pioneer 12 years ago in covering the technical development of sustainable aviation fuels (SAF). Frequent articles about the emerging SAF business and market have distinguished JFI as an authority on the aviation sector’s transition to low-carbon fuels. Cristina has shared her insights on that topic and other aviation issues as a speaker and moderator at Fuel Forums of the International Air Transport Association.
Prior to taking the helm at JFI she spent four years as a Petroleum Intelligence Weekly Reporter covering Asia and collating Opec oil production figures. Cristina started her journalism career in Vienna covering Opec meetings for an English-language Japanese energy publication. Other freelance assignments prior to joining Energy Intelligence include articles for the Petroleum Economist and Bloomberg.
Cristina has a master’s degree in law and diplomacy from the Fletcher School at Tufts University and holds a BA in French literature from Mount Holyoke College.
