ENERGY LEADER FOR TOMORROW 2020
James Burtonshaw holds a Bachelor of Science in Geophysics, with First-Class Honours, and a Master of Science in Petroleum Engineering, with Distinction, from the Royal School of Mines at Imperial College London. James was awarded the MSc Best Research Thesis Prize in Petroleum Engineering at Imperial College London in 2020 for his work on hydraulic and natural fracture interaction in unconventional petroleum systems, and has industry experience as an intern with BP plc. James is passionate about the use of oil & gas and is a strong advocate of the necessity for wide-scale deployment of Carbon Capture and Storage (CCS).
