Junaid Belo-Osagie is an Executive Director of Investment Banking at Mizuho, with a specific interest in clean energy investments in Europe, the Middle East and Africa. Mr Belo-Osagie is also the Chairman of the Financial Advisory Group of the African Hydrogen Partnership, based in London. He started his career in the energy sector before moving into finance in 2008.

After a career at Citi, Mr Belo-Osagie joined Mizuho in 2014, where he has played a pivotal part in the strategic and operational direction of the investment banking business that undertakes high-profile multi-billion dollar debt, equity and advisory transactions across the region. As one of the few senior Africans in a Japanese organization, Mr Belo-Osagie is passionate about connecting the dots between Japanese capital and African growth stories.
