Alastair Hamilton is a Partner in McKinsey’s London office, where he co-leads McKinsey’s global CCUS service line and supports clients across the value chain including investors, IOCs, independents, emitters and technology providers. This involves helping clients to build new businesses and value chains to enable and capture the enormous business opportunities provided by the transition to net-zero emissions. Recently his focus has been on how clients can make the economics of their CCUS businesses ideas work and what it will take to enable the capital to flow into this technology area.

Mr Hamilton also advises clients across a range of other climate technologies, including renewables, new energy technologies, batteries, Hydrogen and others. He joined McKinsey in 2013 having worked in an IOC on new capital project delivery.
