Mr. Kosherbayev oversees the development and implementation of Kazatomprom group’s Development Strategy, ensuring strategic goal execution by coordinating activities across all functions. He also manages investor relations (IR) to foster effective two-way communication with current and potential shareholders. Mr. Kosherbayev ensures the integration of sustainable development principles into operational and strategic activities, while also supervising the process of strategic and operational asset management. Additionally, he is in charge of a unified risk management and internal control system for the Kazatomprom group, aiming for streamlined processes.

He began his career in the nuclear industry with Kazatomprom in 2016, working as a manager in the Corporate Governance Department before being promoted to Head of M&A in the Business Development Department.

Following that, he held a position of a Deputy Executive Director at JV KATCO LLP, a joint venture of Kazatomprom and Orano.
He was later appointed as Kazatomprom's Sales Director and was promoted to Chief Commercial Officer in June 2023. In April 2024, he has become the Chief Strategy & International Development Officer.
