Riham ElGizy is the Chief Executive Officer of Regional Voluntary Carbon Market Company (RVCMC). In her role, she launched the first voluntary carbon market in the Middle East and North Africa regions and led two of the largest ever voluntary carbon market auctions.

Ms ElGizy leads efforts to ensure that as global voluntary carbon markets mature, they continue to play a credible role in tackling climate change.

RVCMC aims to be one of the world’s largest voluntary carbon markets by 2030, while channeling significant funding to projects that improve livelihoods across the Global South.
