Julien Perez is the Managing Director of Oil and Gas Climate Initiative (OGCI) and Oil and Gas Development Company. He is responsible for the overall management of strategy and execution, coordinating action and commitments, managing relations with institutions and external stakeholders, developing external policy views and providing strategic direction to drive the future development of both organizations.

Prior to OGCI, Mr Perez headed Climate and Energy Services at EY, where he helped companies implement low-carbon strategies. In addition, Mr Perez coordinated climate change action at TotalEnergies and managed environmental liabilities for various industries at Aecom.

Mr Perez holds an environmental engineering degree from Agro ParisTech, an MSc in energy and climate economics from Dauphine, an advanced degree in change management and natural capital from Yale and an Executive MBA from HEC in France.
