Julien Mathonniere is an Oil Markets Economist with Energy Intelligence in London. A trained Petroleum Economist from the University of Aberdeen (UK), he is responsible for the company's oil demand forecasting and macroeconomic analysis.

Mr Mathonniere covers the physical and paper markets for crude and refined products with a focus on the Atlantic Basin and cross-regional arbitrage. He regularly briefs private clients and public administrations on energy and economic topics, including home and foreign ministries.

Mr Mathonniere has delivered extensive training on oil markets and refining to a variety of stakeholders. He also does a lot of public speaking on oil-related topics at multiple events and with various medias.
