Angela McKane is the Founding Partner of Energy Mix Ventures, focused on the opportunities arising from the changing global energy mix, and on delivering Intelligent Energy, to power the future of humanity.

Launched in 2024, Energy Mix Ventures’ mission is to seed the fantastic new companies bringing the solutions needed for the changing global energy and transport systems. The company partners with some of the UK’s leading founders and innovators to achieve this mission.

Prior to founding Energy Mix Ventures, Ms McKane has a 20 year career history spanning the defence, transport and energy sectors, the bulk of which was spent growing and leading a global team with bp, with accountability for digitally transforming the company’s knowledge offer to its scientists, engineers and executives worldwide; and scouting for technology innovations with high market potential in order to identify prospective investment targets and opportunities.
