Yinxing Zhang works as an Energy Transition Reporter at Energy Intelligence. He is based in Singapore.
Mr Zhang covers energy transition trends and analysis on China, Japan, South Korea, and Australia, with a secondary focus on Southeast Asia. He follows closely low-carbon energy policies and development in industries at the forefront of energy transition, such as renewable energy, biofuels, clean mobility, and green hydrogen, among other things, in major Asian countries.
Prior to this, Mr Zhang was based in Netherlands as a market analyst for ClearBlue Markets, covering the carbon, energy, and environmental markets; he also worked at Schneider Electric as a trading analyst in Hungary, analyzing and trading major European gas and power products.
Mr Zhang holds a master’s degree in finance from Central European University and received his bachelor's degree from Xi’an Eurasia University.
