Miano Wamuyu is a final-year Petroleum Engineering student at Kenyatta University. She is skilled in geothermal drilling, subsurface exploration and pipeline systems, expertise gained through hands-on experience with KenGen and the Kenya Pipeline Company.

She currently serves a two-year leadership term (2023–2025) as an SPE Class Ambassador and was named Most Outstanding Member in 2023 and Member of the Month in 2024.

Ms Wamuyu is passionate about energy access, policy, and research and development. She is certified in electric vehicle systems and actively involved in women-in-STEM mentorship and sustainable development. She is committed to driving impact in the global energy transition by shaping innovative, equitable, and scalable solutions that serve both people and planet.
