Phil Caldwell was appointed Chief Executive of Ceres in 2013. Under his leadership Ceres has grown into a leading clean technology company. 

Mr Caldwell has been instrumental in positioning Ceres as a technology licencing business; establishing partnerships with global industrial players to meet the urgency for low carbon power systems and electrolysis for green hydrogen. 

Mr Caldwell has worked in the clean technology industry for nearly 20 years, formerly at Intelligent Energy and ICI. He has a master’s degree in Chemical Engineering from Imperial College, an MBA from IESE Barcelona and is a Sainsbury Management Fellow. He is also a Fellow of IChemE.
