Renée Van Heusden joined the World Economic Forum in 2015 as Community Lead Oil & Gas and has subsequently worked on European governmental relations and led the Mission Possible Partnership’s Aluminium and Steel sectoral initiatives. Before the Forum, Ms Van Heusden was a commodities trade finance banker at ABN AMRO’s New York and Amsterdam offices, dedicated to US based Oil and Gas trading companies.

As the Head of Oil and Gas, Ms Van Heusden is responsible for defining the CEOs and Strategy Officers communities’ collective industry agenda. She drives the engagement of partners in the Oil and Gas sector across the Forum Centres to deliver value to partner companies while supporting the Forum`s mission. As part of the leadership team of Global Industries, Ms Van Heusden also contributes to the development and execution of the broader (energy) industry engagement strategy.
