Chukwudi Abimbola Omoko is a Nigerian energy enthusiast currently pursuing an MSc in Energy Business and Climate Strategy at Grenoble Ecole de Management, France, as a recipient of the TotalEnergies Masters Scholarship. She also serves as a GEM Sustainability Ambassador, promoting sustainability engagement within the school community.
A first-class honors graduate in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Landmark University, Nigeria, Ms. Omoko has gained experience across multiple areas of the energy sector, including hydrogen, oil and gas, solar energy, microgrids, sustainability, and digital innovation. Her professional experience spans both Nigeria and France, covering solar PV electrical projects, offshore systems, market analysis, and energy transition initiatives.
Her research interests focus on sustainable energy access and community-led energy solutions. Her MSc dissertation explores agrivoltaic energy communities as a pathway to reducing energy poverty in rural Nigeria through innovative business models and intermediary actors.
Ms. Omoko is a co-founder of LuminaCycle, a solar PV circular economy HULT Prize Award winning startup, and an FSR Annual Scholar at the European University Institute, Florence. She is passionate about advancing the energy transition and sustainability while empowering young people and women pursuing careers in STEM and the energy sector.
