Sherif Foda has served as Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of NESR since its inception. He founded the company in 2017 with the vision of creating the first and largest energy services company from the MENA region publicly listed on the Nasdaq Stock Market.

Mr Foda has more than 25 years of international experience in the energy industry, having spent much of his earlier career with Schlumberger (NYSE: SLB) in senior executive and leadership roles across the Middle East, Europe, Africa and the US. His roles included Senior Advisor to the Chairman, President of the Production Group, President of Europe and Africa, and Managing Director of the Arabian market, among other leadership positions.

Mr Foda has attended executive programs at Harvard Business School, Oxford and IMD and is a frequent speaker at leading industry forums. He currently serves on multiple boards, is a member of the Oxford Energy Policy Club in the UK, and serves on the board of Al Fanar Venture Philanthropy in London.
