Ali Moshiri is the founder and CEO President of Amos Global Energy Investment LLC, a Houston based firm focused on energy investments across the United States and Latin America. He established the company in 2017 following his retirement from Chevron, where he concluded a distinguished four decade career as President of Chevron Africa and Latin America.

Mr Moshiri joined Chevron in 1978 as a Petroleum Engineer and went on to hold a series of senior technical and leadership roles in the United States, United Kingdom, and global upstream operations. His responsibilities included engineering management, international petroleum and facilities operations, strategic planning, asset evaluation, mergers and acquisitions, and corporate advisory functions. In 2001, he became Managing Director of Chevron’s Latin America business unit, later advancing to President of Chevron Africa and Latin America, overseeing major upstream operations across multiple countries.

At Amos Global Energy, he leads investment and development initiatives in the U.S. and emerging opportunities in Venezuela, Panama, and Argentina. Mr Moshiri holds bachelor’s and master’s degrees in petroleum engineering from the University of Tulsa and has served in leadership roles with organizations including the Houston Zoo, the Institute of the Americas, and the Council of the Americas. He and his wife, Maria Luisa (Misi) Breisacher Moshiri, have six children.
