Tareq Amin is Chief Executive Officer of HUMAIN, the full-stack AI company owned by Saudi Arabia’s Public Investment Fund (PIF) and chaired by Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman. He was appointed in May 2025, the month the Crown Prince launched the company. A Jordanian-American technologist, he previously ran Aramco Digital and, before that, Rakuten Mobile and Rakuten Symphony.

HUMAIN spans four layers: infrastructure, cloud, data and models, and applications. In 16 months it has signed Nvidia, AWS, AMD, Qualcomm, Microsoft and xAI as partners, launched products on its Allam Arabic model and begun preparing a possible IPO. Mr Amin targets 1.9 GW of capacity by 2030 and wants Saudi Arabia to rank third globally in AI infrastructure.
