Emily Meredith is the Deputy Bureau Chief of Energy Intelligence’s Washington bureau.
She chiefly covers foreign policy issues affecting the energy sector, with a focus on sanctions on energy economies, climate policy and climate risk impacts on financial regulations and international public financing.
Her past reporting roles at Energy Intelligence include coverage of the nuclear industry as well as Mideast Gulf oil economies from the Dubai bureau. Previously, she worked for local and regional publications in Dubai and Delhi.
Emily has a master’s degree from Columbia University’s Graduate School of Journalism. A native of Virginia, she graduated from the College of William and Mary with a bachelor’s degree in International Relations and minor in Finance.
