As Chair and Chief Executive Officer of Carbon Clean, Aniruddha Sharma oversees the company’s strategy, commercial growth and project delivery operations. He is also Chair of the Board.
Since co-founding Carbon Clean in 2009, Mr Sharma has steered the company through several investment cycles, including funding from the UK Government and US Department of Energy. In May 2022, Carbon Clean set a record among point-source carbon capture scale-ups with a Series C round that attracted $150 million in funding.
Under his leadership, Carbon Clean has expanded globally, opening offices in the US and Canada and growing its footprint in the Middle East, Europe and Asia.
Mr Sharma graduated with honors from the prestigious Indian Institute of Technology Kharagpur with master’s and bachelor’s degrees in statistics and informatics.
