AWARD WINNER

Energy Intelligence is pleased to announce that Mike Wirth, Chairman of the Board and Chief Executive Officer of Chevron Corporation, has been elected as Energy Executive of the Year for 2026.

The award recognizes Wirth for his outstanding leadership, strategic vision and transformative impact on the global energy industry.

The award was presented to him at the Energy Intelligence Forum, held in London on October 5–6, 2026.

ABOUT THE ENERGY EXECUTIVE
OF THE YEAR AWARD

The Energy Executive of the Year award is the international energy industry’s most prestigious award given in recognition of outstanding executive leadership in the energy sector.

Nominations for the award are solicited from over 100 of the world’s largest oil and gas companies, as they appear in Energy Intelligence’s annual TOP 100 Global NOC & IOC Rankings.

A confidential peer selection process involving current and former senior energy executives determines the final winner.

The award is presented by Energy Intelligence at the black-tie Energy Executive of the Year gala dinner, the marquee event of the Energy Intelligence Forum in London.
