Nik Nor Zafirah is a Malaysian energy commercial professional with over seven years of global experience, primarily at Shell in the Netherlands. Her work spanned commercial negotiations in geopolitically sensitive regions, offshore wind policy advisory and integrated energy investment strategies. Ms Zafirah recently earned a Master of Public Administration in Climate, Energy and Environment from Columbia University. Her policy and research work explored the decarbonization of hard-to-abate sectors, biodiversity and carbon credits, nuclear energy policy, and sustainable finance. 

Ms Zafirah is also passionate about elevating women in energy leadership and served as Director of Women in Energy at the Columbia Energy Association.
