Fatema Al Farsi is a fresh petroleum and natural gas engineering graduate from Sultan Qaboos University. She served consecutively as the President of the Society of Petroleum Engineers SQU Student chapter. Her leadership skills have been recognized by being selected as one of the top 100 students worldwide out of a pool of thousands to attend IPTC 2022 in Saudi Arabia. Her passion to contribute through academic research to the industry led her to win the second place of the SPE paper contest in the Mena region.

Ms Al Farsi believes strongly in a fair and equal future and that is why she is involved in sustainability and community initiatives to transfer skills and knowledge while providing a platform for growth for all.
